“Seamless migration” is an easy thing to promise and a hard thing to deliver — the complexity hides in the work product, not the documents. We migrate the decisions your reviewers have already made and reconcile them on both sides, so nobody re-reviews a document that was already decided.
Every migration ends with a reconciliation report: counts on the source side, counts on the Discover side, and an explanation for any difference. Showing that nothing was lost is part of the deliverable.

Coming from Ipro? Don’t trade one dead end for another.
Reveal acquired Ipro in August 2023, and end-of-life dates for Ipro products have been arriving ever since. The two obvious exits both have problems: moving to Reveal means re-platforming onto the acquirer’s stack on the acquirer’s schedule, and Relativity’s on-premises Server is itself being retired — support sunsets at the end of 2027, and from January 1, 2028 all new matters must be hosted in RelativityOne. A firm that migrates on-prem to on-prem today is signing up to do it all again.

Common questions
How long does a migration take? +
It depends on the number of matters and the state of the source system, but most firm migrations run a few weeks from workflow mapping to the last verified matter. Your team keeps working in the old platform until each matter is confirmed in the new one, and you get the schedule in writing before anything moves.
Can you migrate active matters? +
Yes. Active matters move in a planned window — typically over a weekend — with the database frozen, migrated, reconciled and released back to the team. Deadlines are planned around, not through.
What does it cost? +
A fixed quote before we start, based on the matter count and data volumes — not an hourly meter running against an unknown. Most firms recover a meaningful part of it quickly through lower hosting, because volumes are reduced before anything is hosted.
Do we have to change how we work? +
Only where you want to. The point of the workflow mapping is that your coding layouts, templates and conventions come across recognizably — day one in Discover should feel familiar. Then, where you choose, we enhance: Claira for first pass, better analytics, faster processing.
Which platforms can you migrate from? +
Ipro and Reveal, Relativity and RelativityOne, and most other review databases — anything that can produce a load file, and several things that cannot. Coding, tags, redactions and families come across intact. If your platform is not on that list, ask; the interchange formats are well-trodden ground for us.
What happens to the old platform? +
We help you wind it down in order: archives exported to neutral formats for your retention obligations, licences terminated on your schedule, and nothing cancelled until every matter is verified on the new side.
