Take as much
or as little
as you need.

The eDiscovery obligation begins the moment litigation is reasonably anticipated and ends the day the evidence is used at trial. We work anywhere along that line — one stage, several, or all of it. Our team becomes your team, and the work comes back in a state opposing counsel cannot pick apart.

In plain terms

Who we are, and what eDiscovery is.

noticia is an eDiscovery and evidence-management team. We work with law firms, in-house counsel, governments and organizations of every size, supporting the evidence side of their matters — the tools, the process and the people — while the strategy stays theirs.

eDiscovery itself is the discipline of handling electronic evidence: finding the email, chat, shared-drive and phone data that matters, preserving it so it holds up, stripping away the noise, and putting what remains in front of the right people in a form they can review, produce and rely on.

01 / Preserve

Hold and preserve.

The obligation starts before anyone has looked at a document. We put the hold in place, interview the custodians and record the decisions, so proportionality arguments later rest on something written down.

  • Litigation hold notices and reminder cycles
  • Custodian interviews and data-source mapping
  • Preservation-in-place for M365, Google Workspace and on-premise systems
  • Defensible-deletion suspension and IT liaison
  • Written preservation record for the affidavit
02 / Collect

Collect from anywhere.

Mailboxes, cloud tenancies, network shares, mobile devices, chat platforms, structured systems and twelve binders of paper. Collected forensically, with hashes and chain of custody, in a way that will survive a challenge.

  • Forensic imaging and targeted collection
  • M365, Purview, Google Workspace, Slack and Teams exports
  • Mobile extraction — SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, Signal, Notes
  • Encrypted, corrupt and legacy formats (NSF, PST, mBox, tape)
  • Paper scanning and OCR, English and French
03 / Assess

Cut the obvious half.

An early data assessment organised by custodian, date and document type. Wrong dates, wrong people, junk mail and personal noise come out before a lawyer reads a page — and the volume you pay to host drops with it.

  • Early case assessment and volume reporting
  • Deduplication, email threading, near-duplicate grouping
  • De-NISTing and system-file suppression
  • Search-term testing and negotiation support
  • Cost and timeline modelling before review starts
04 / Review

Review, properly staffed.

Bilingual reviewers working inside Nuix Discover, with Claira handling first-pass volume and showing its reasoning. Documents arrive with their threads, families and near-duplicates around them. Your team keeps every call.

  • First-pass relevance and issue coding
  • Solicitor-client, litigation and settlement privilege screening
  • Objective coding and metadata capture
  • Redaction for privilege, PII and confidentiality
  • QC sampling, reviewer calibration and defensibility reporting
05 / Produce

Produce and defend.

Discovery protocols negotiated properly at the outset, exports built for whoever is on the other side, and the affidavit of documents to back it. Then their production comes in and we make it as usable as yours.

  • Discovery plans and exchange protocols
  • Load files for Nuix, Relativity and Concordance-style imports
  • Affidavits of documents and privilege logs
  • Incoming production ingestion and QA
  • Trial bundles, chronologies and witness-kit support
Engagement models

Three ways in.

Self-serve licence

A Nuix Discover licence hosted in Canada, set up and supported by us. Your team runs the review. No ingestion fees, no minimums, no long-term commitment.

Firms with in-house capacity

Shared workload

You keep the strategic calls and the privilege review. We take processing, first-pass volume, coding fields, redactions and production mechanics.

Most matters

Fully managed

End-to-end. Hold through trial, with a named senior lead who stays on the file and reports on cost and progress as it moves.

Large or urgent matters

What every
engagement includes.

Canadian hosting Data stays in Canada, on infrastructure certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II.
Bilingual by default English and French review, correspondence and productions — not an add-on line item.
No ingestion fees You are not charged for loading your own evidence, or penalised for reprocessing it.
Senior-led The person who scopes the matter is the person who runs it. No handoff to a queue.
Fixed-scope estimates A written estimate before work begins, and a note the moment anything would change it.
Defensibility record Every processing, culling and coding decision logged in a form you can put in front of a judge.

Tell us about
the matter.

A scope and an estimate inside two business days — usually the same day when a deadline is already on the calendar.
