How quickly can we get a cost estimate? +
Timing matters in litigation. We can usually give a detailed estimate within one to two business days of receiving the matter details, and a preliminary number the same day when something is urgent. Because processing is efficient, estimates are based on actual data volumes rather than projections.
Do we pay hosting fees to you or to Nuix? +
To us. We handle the licensing relationship and you get a single clear invoice covering services and hosting. Volume agreements usually mean better pricing than going direct, and the data reduction keeps the hosting line low to begin with.
Can you handle a very large matter? +
Yes. The platform is built for scale — millions of documents across thousands of custodians, including multi-jurisdictional files with tight deadlines. Fast processing means we can scale up quickly when a deadline moves.
Do we have to use Nuix Discover to work with you? +
No. If your firm is standardized on another review database, we can run processing, culling and AI-assisted review in Nuix Discover and overlay the results into your existing platform. You do not have to maintain any of it yourself.
Where is the data hosted? +
In Canada, for the life of the matter, on infrastructure certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II. Nothing crosses the border for processing, review or storage.
